One thing about me is that I’m going to create a meal that doesn’t take up too much time. ESPECIALLY during the week! This margherita pizza took me approximately 20 minutes, total, to prepare and have on my plate ready to eat. I poured a glass of Zinfandel from Trader Joe’s ( was not my favorite) ate a few slices, and that was dinner!
INGREDIENTS:
- Trader Joe’s Pizza Crust
- Marinara Sauce
- Olive Oil (apprx 1 tbsp)
- Minced Garlic (apprx 1 tsp)
- Fresh Tomato
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
- Basil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400
- Drizzle olive oil over pizza crust
- Spread marinara sauce over pizza crust making sure to spread to the ends of the crust.
- Spread minced garlic over crust
- Slice tomato into small slices and top the pizza
- Cut mozzarella into circles and spread between tomato slices
- Shred parmesan cheese on top of pizza
- Place pizza in the oven for about 10 minutes, until crust is brown on edges
- Remove pizza from oven and sprinkle chopped basil on top
- SERVE!
