With the shorter days and the colder weather, it’s quickly truning into hibernation season. This season brings more cooking, eating, and lounging around the house. On top of that, the rain picks up more in my part of the country. That means wet puppy paws. I say all of that to say, I’ll be cleaning more frequently and consistently following my cleaning schedule. This cleaning schedule has given be back so much of my time as I’m not spending my entire weekend cleaning and doing laundry and grocery shopping. I recently moved out of The Town Loft into a smaller…

After preparing caviar avocado for the latest episode of Easy Eats, I had a little caviar left over. Naturally I ate a spoonful with a pringle, but used the remainder to make a delicious caviar pasta. My favorite thing about this dish is the simplicity. It is a simple dish to prepare and if you are a pasta and caviar lover, you will be sure to enjoy. INGREDIENTS: INSTRUCTIONS: Will you try this pasta dish? xoxo,Starr

Let me be honest, I’m not a chef. I don’t even consider myself to be a great cook if we’re being honest. So why would I create a cooking show? It’s simple. I love bringing people together and nothing brings people together better than food, great drinks, and stimulating conversation. I started Easy Eats during the pandemic. We were all at home looking for things to keep us entertained. One thing I know for sure, is that the longer you sit around at home with nothing to do, the hungrier you are. I don’t understand the math, but that’s just…

Whenever I’m invited to a dinner and asked to bring a dish, my go-to is typically a dellicious salad. Salads tend to be forgotten on the menu and I have no problem adding them to the table. Typically, when making a salad, we toss them in a bowl and they sometimes get forgotten. Well, this particular salad is guaranateed to impress your guest at your next dinner party. I found this recipe here and wanted to try it myself. I love finiding recipes and making them my own and I encourage you all to do the same. I think I’ll…

Winery:Pur Noire | Owners: Carissa and Kenneth StephensA husband and wife winery and tasting room located in Houston, TX. Pur Noire is Houston’s first Black- Owned tasting room. Tacos are one of my weaknesses. One of the things I like the most about a taco is it’s versatility. You can honestly use any protein you want, top it with avocado and call it a wrap! No pun intended. My most recent taco obsession is the roasted sweet potato taco. It’s quick, filling, flavorful, and doesn’t require a ton of ingredients. INGREDIENTS: INSTRUCTIONS: If you try it out, please let me know! xoxo,Starr

Who remember the days of being awaken at 7am on Saturday mornings to Luther Vandross blasting from the speakers and your mom busting in your room with a broom and mop in hand?? Saturday mornings were dsignated to cleaning the ENTIRE house before you even thought of going outside to play. For years into adulthood, I followed that same recipe until I realized that I was wasting my Saturdays with tasks that I can easily knock out during the week. When I could be out enjoying my day or sleeping in and catching up on SVU, I was spending hours…

It’s not lost on me that some people aren’t huge fans of wines because of the acidity and the dry tastes; That is what makes people lean towards the sweeter lesser quality options. It’s also not lost on me that price point matters. As mentioned in previous posts, I’m on a mission to find a decent bottle of wine that’s available to the masses and doesn’t break the bank. This Sweet Shiraz from Jam Jar helped me to transistion to red wines in my early wine drinking days. Shiraz is a dessert wine, so it’s sweeter than most and not…
