For a few months, now, I’ve had the urge to scale back and simplify my life. I’ve done so by purging my closet, kitchen cabinets, beauty product stash, relationships, commitments, and my wardrobe. One thing I’ve learned is that anything and anybody that is just taking up space in your life, is simply that, taking up space. There is no opportunity for God to give you new if the old is taking up space. We have to make room.
In regards to my wardrobe, I’m removing the things that no longer serve me, that no longer fit me, and that do not represent me in the place I am currently, in my life. I simply just want to make things easy, less complicated, and long lasting.
