    What I Read in Q1

    I’ve always loved books. As a matter of fact, when I was a teen I authored a teenage series. Think, The Babysitters Club meets 90210. I wanted to create a set of teenage stories centered around Black characters opposed to the characters I constantly saw on TV and read about in books.     Simplifying My Wardrobe

    For a few months, now, I’ve had the urge to scale back and simplify my life. I’ve done so by purging my closet, kitchen cabinets, beauty product stash, relationships, commitments, and my wardrobe. One thing I’ve learned is that anything and anybody that is just taking up space in your life, is simply that, taking up space. There is no opportunity for God to give you new if the old is taking up space. We have to make room.
