If you are interested in this serivce, shoot me an email for more deets. Please be sure to take a look at the previous post of the list of 5 other Black Owned Wine Labels that I love.

J.Moss
Founded by James Moss
This tasting room has been on my list to visit for far too long. I’m making it a point to visit as soon as the weather warms up (or not). J. Moss is family owned wine brand but I love the story of James coming into the industry.
Tasting Notes: Medium to full bodied, Bright, juicy, rich and robust flavors of black berries, dark cherries with hints of chocolate and toasted cedar.

Indegené Cellars
Founded by Raymond Smith
I was first introduced to this brand at a Black Wine event in Oakland, and fell in love with Syrah. It was smooth with robust flavors. You should definitely add this to your collection.
Tasting Notes: Floral laced notes of black and blue fruits are medium to full Bodied. A wild herb and olive tapenade slant brings restraint to the earthy minerals and long polished tannins

Pur Noire
– Founded by Carissa and Kenneth Stephens
My blend of choice from Pur Noire is the Pur Epiphany. This variety is a red blend, and I originally thought it was a Zinfadel blend but have now learned that it is a syrah blend. It feels a little heavy for a syrah in my opinion. Maybe it identifies as a zinfadel blend.
Tasting Notes: Full bodied and smooth with medium tannins. Midpalate the wines complexity and balance is showcased as it seamlessly moves from fruit to spice. Aged in French oak for 18 months, the wine finishes with warm vanilla and a touch of black pepper.

Brown Estates
– Founded by the Brown Family
This is truly a Zinfadel and is currently my favorite Zinfandel. If you are a barbecue lover, then Zinfandel is the variety for you.
Tasting Notes: Ripe black cherry, Asian pear, spun sugar, grenadine, effervescent citrus, rose garden, English trifle, blooming gardenia, discoverable notes of cedar box and sandalwood. Ripe black cherry, Asian pear, spun sugar, grenadine, effervescent citrus, rose garden, English trifle, blooming gardenia, discoverable notes of cedar box and sandalwood. Juicy and enveloping with silky glycerine-like mouthfeel balanced by vibrant acidity. Medium- to full-bodied, finely integrated tannins, lingering finish.

Longevity
– Founded by Phil Long
Cabarnet Sauvignon is my go to wine variety and is a popular variety in Northern California due to its close proximity to the ocean. Longevity does a great Cab, amongst other varieties, that I will always reach for.
Tasting Notes: Temptingly rich and layered, a firm, ripe, muscular wine that’s deep, structured, intense and concentrated, serving up a mix of ripe currant, cassis, plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit.
