Black History Month Book Recs | Wk 4 | Celeb Books

We’re entering the last week of Black History Month but the celebration (and the reading) doesn’t stop. While we close out this beautiful month of celebration, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite books written by some of our most decorated celebrities. I know President Obama isn’t technically a “celebrity”, but yes he is.

  1. Dear Black Girls by A’ja Wilson
  2. The Meaning of Mariah Carey by Mariah Carey
  3. The Audacity of Hope by President Barack Obama
  4. Finding Me by Viola Davis
  5. Will by Will Smith

Fulton Street Books and Coffee is Black and Woman Owned! It is a bookstore and coffee shop located in Tulsa Oklahoma and serves as a safe space for Black & Brown folks. I’ve made it easy for you to purchase this weeks book recs from Fulton Street Books & Coffee by clicking here.

I’ve had the pleasure of reading the wonderful works listed except A’Ja Wilson’s book, but it’s next on my TBR list. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the stories and lives that made these multitalented artists into the people we celebrate through music, film, art, sports, leadership, and intellect.

Happy Reading!
Starr
